On Wednesday, April 10, Marjory Lewe-Brady, Director of Partnerships in West Chicago Elementary School District 33 was among those recognized during the Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA), DuPage County Region, Recognition and Awards Breakfast. The annual event invites school administrators to recognize individuals who have made a tremendous and lasting impact to the success of education in DuPage County during their careers and within the given school year.
Lewe-Brady was nominated by Dr. Darlene Riscitti of the DuPage Regional Office of Education in the volunteer category of the IASA Recognition Award for 2019.
Riscitti nominated Lewe-Brady for her contribution of time, expertise, and leadership towards two major county initiatives. The first being her work on the DuPage County School Safety Task Force, in which she helped facilitate a countywide model safety crisis management plan. The second being her role in the ROE/YWCA Initiative and assisting in the continuous engagement of the problem solving to ensure effectiveness in meeting the goals of Early Childhood Education from 0-3.
Marjory Lewe-Brady is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, serving as the Director of Partnerships in West Chicago Elementary School District 33 and has been with the District since 2005. Lewe-Brady facilitates WeGo Together for Kids; a collective impact initiative using the community schools strategy as foundational philosophy toward achieving population level outcomes related to academic achievement, youth and family health, family stability, community engagement and emergency preparedness with families.
